Just had a thought...... I know we have a few recipes that we tend to stick with and some new ones that we've tried. I dont know how many people on here cook and what not, but wouldn't it be fun to share some recipes and try them out??? Would it be possible to make a sticky for it or something, I know its not dog related, but I thought it would be fun.

AHHH I've been looking for a banana bread recipe. How long does the banana bread cook for? Does anyone have one for zucchini bread? My mom used to have one but it disappeared or something and it's real disappointing because it was the best ever.
Nathan and I tried this one the other night and it was pretty good. It calls for corn but we didn't add it.
Fiesta Taco Bake:
2 cups uncooked dried radiatore pasta (we used elbow macaroni) 1 lb ground beef 1/2 cup (1 medium) chopped onion 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn 1/2 cup mild taco sauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (4oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Heat oven to 350. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. Meanwhile, cook ground beef & onion, stirring occasionally until browned. Drain off fat. Stir in corn, taco sauce, tomato sauce, cumin, shilies, and salt. Stir in pasta. Spoon into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle cheeses over mixure in alternating rows. Bake for 25-30 min or until heated through.
We did about 1 cup of taco sauce, added the whole jar of the taco bell sauce smallest jar and we only had a 15 oz can of tomato sauce, but added like 3/4 of the can there too. We're cheese addicts to just mounted the cheese on top. It was superb! We also added peppers to the beef/onion mixture.
*Trying to make not so much gaps between ingredients :* Does it looks like there is an extra line to everyone else? Stormy how did you get yours lined up so small and mine is all spread out. GRRRRR

*WOOOT It Worked!!!!! * -- Edited by lil_exorcist at 16:49, 2005-11-17
In honesty I never use the times that are giving on recipes. I always check myself. I'm bad about not writing down the times. When it comes to bread I usually just take a knife and put it in the middle if it comes out clean then it's done. BUt make sure you check often cause the bottom will burn but not the top.
Here's what's got to be the easiest soup recipe ever. I have everyone at worked hooked on it and their families love it.
Put stewed tomatoes, butter, pepper and either chicken or beef bouillon in a pot. Add cooked macaroni and voila, soup is ready. You can use as much or little of the butter and bouillon to your personal preference.
I don't have any dessert recipes but I do have a ham one.
You take a good size ham. I usually use the butt end. Cut off all the thick skin. Then you pack the outside with broen sugar. As much as you can get to stick the better. Then you fix some pineapples slices to it. I usually set the temp. for about 350 or so. Bast every so often with the brown sugar juices that are in the pan. Slice and enjoy...
I cooked it that way last year and it was a big hit last year. Thats how Iplan to cook it again this year.
I also have a good one for cornish game hens but I have to find that one.
I also heard that when you cook your turkey to throw a apple inside of it. It will help to keep the turkey juicey. I just need to find out if I need to peel the apple or not. Does anyone know...?
dang rebel. i love ham. i was getting hungrier as i read your recipe ! my brother in law is cooking the ham for thanksgiving. he buys the spiral hams. they are so yummy, but sooo expensive !
In large skillet cook chicken until done...set aside. Then saute onions until done in same skillet. Add soups and rotel with the onions then add the chicken back in.
In small baking dish put a layer of torn corn tortillas, pan mixture, and cheese. Keep layering until all the pan mixture is gone. Make sure you end the layers with pan mixture and top with cheese.
Cook at 350 until the cheese is hot and bubbly. Serve with chips, hot sauce, fresh guacomole and sour cream....
