My mom called me from work a little while ago and said they had an ad in the newspaper that they need a vet assistant at our vet office so I jumped on it and I'm doing my resume' right now and will take it to them first thing in the morning (Along with Sophie to get her dreaded rabies shot...;)
For the education section, do I really have to add elementary and middle schools? So far I've just added High school and continued education through Education Direct online (Vet assisting in that) aaaaaaand....What about references? My parents, b/f?(as they know how I am about animals)
This is also my first try at getting a job so I won't beat myself up over it if I don't get it but I think I have a good shot with my resume
Here's my resume...any tips would be great.... I have to cut out my address, phone and schools...don't want any crazys stumbling up on it...;)

I don't think you have to put elementary education. As far as references, if you have anyone that is NOT family or friends, it would be better. They figure that family will say something nice for you anyway. Do you have any teachers, people from animal shelter where you have voluntereed......?? That would be a better reference.
hmm...I can't think of anyone who could be a good reference.
Matt knows how I am with animals and would be really good....He knows how I light up around animals.
My best friend Hayli is also a good one, she knows how I light up, as well.
This is also at my vet clinic...so, they all know who I am, I was there alot for a month when Miss Kitty was sick...so hopefully my vet will see me applying tomorrow...;) I will talk w/ her if she is the one giving Sophie the rabies shot.
