missing girl........

i have been bawling since i heard this on the news. tillicum is only about 20 minutes from me. i just have a sick feeling that the outcome will not be good. i also cant help thinking that her parents know more than they are saying. if you are able to watch the video, she is smiling and laughing through it all. if it was any of my kids i would be a basket case and not even able to talk to he news at all. keep her in your prayers that she will be found safe.

Oh man...I don't think I would even be able to read the article. I bawl like crazy when I read stuff like that. I can't stand it. I have insomnia, and stuff about kids makes that even worse. I sit up thinking about them and wishing they were safe.

There is something weird going on in my state right now with a 6 year old. This dad called police saying that his 6 year old daughter ran away after they wouldn't give her a cookie. This was in the middle of November. Well, police have come to find out that there are no recent pictures of the child, and no one of any significants has seen the child for over a year and the child is not enrolled in school like the other 5 children. It's really sad and weird. They are saying she could have been murdered over a year ago, but they can't prove it yet. And what's really disturbing is, if that's the case, what made the father all of a sudden decide to call the police about the whole thing? People can be so sick.............

that seems funny to me too that he would wait a whole year to report her missing ? he probably knows exactly what happened to her. sooo sad that things like that happen to children. i hate watching the news anymore. especially when it happens right here in my own area. kayla, my 17 year old, just got a butt chewing and grounding for going to a party in tillicum when she was supposed to be at a movie. that is a bad bad little town. and now a 10 year old child is missing from there. i pray that they find her, but i just have a gut feeling that the news will not be good. they are dragging the lake behind their house right now. i have swam in that same lake many times as a teen.

Wow, both cases are terrible. But you know just like little Shasta Groene here who was found weeks after she was kidnapped, sadly her whole family was murdered including her 10 year old brother Dylan but she was found at a Dennys and returned to her real dad.
We live only about a block and a half away from our school but I take my daughter to school everyday. Granted she is only 6(almost) but alot of people let their little ones walk if they live semi close. Even in our small "safe" town, I don't trust anyone with my kids.

This might seem a little......I don't know the word, but the mom in that video seemed very odd to me, she didn't seem concerned at all(big red flag). There are alot of things that bother me about this case.

How awful. The mother did seem not that caring. And when she said that she had a strange calm...weird if you ask me.

Yeah, saying something like 'strange calm' is something someone who would kill their kids because voices told them to would say. There was a women that did something horrible to her kids in my state because a spider walked across her hand and she wasn't scared, and so she took it as a cue that it was 'okay' and she too said she felt 'calm'. Ugh.....

well its the fifth day and no sign of the 10 year old girl. whats really sad is tillicum is just a teeny tiny town. you pull in off the freeway and go down the one main strip and get back on the freeway on the other end. it is maybe equivilent to four blocks long. behind the town is harry todd park that sits on the lake. we used to go swimming at that park alot. the scariest thing is , as small as the town of tillicum is, they have 51 registered sex offenders living there !! 51 ! good lord thats most of the town ! . and these people dont escort their child to school nor do they find out ahead of time if there is even a school closure. we had alot of snow. i pretty much figured ahead of time before i even checked that there would not be any school. these parents seem awfully shady and cold to me. sad for the little girl. they have been dragging the lake for days and finding nothing....
