These first pics are of Sparky (my son's). As you can see, this is what neglect does to a poor puppy. Look at his hips and ribs He also has a cold but he is on meds and getting better. Good thing he was rescued.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v709/rdubbe/Pets/DSCF0787.jpg Notice the toys ALL over the yard.....lol Keena decided that all the toys in the doggy toy box needed to be outside so she would grab a toy from the toy box in the house and take it straight out the dog door. Then she'd come back for another until all they toys were outside.....hehe.
They are doing great. They get along with Hayley and Milo. I am soooo glad we were able to give these two puppies a good home.
I'm so glad those dogs have you guys! You're awesome to rescue them I'm sure they will pay you back with all that puppy love ten fold!
I have been meaning to email you about your mum's rescue and have just been so busy with the holidays and my son's school, I'm so sorry! I don't think I would be able to foster right now because at the end of the month we are going out of town for 2 weeks and that just wouldn't be fair, but maybe in January I can help out. Even if it wasn't foster, even if it was just walking them or donating things, would love to help

Hunter- No problem. Actually, donations would be wonderful since the other lady that mainly runs the rescue travels all over the country to rescue poor dogs. These two i just got originally came from Texas. Between her and my mom, they just took in a bunch of badly neglected poodles. They need a ton of things. Just let me know and i will give you my mom's contact info.
My sister is a Standard Poodle fancier, she breeds them, and is a professional groomer. She lives in Eugene, Washington. I bet she would donate a bit of grooming time to something local to her...
That would be great but unfortunately, the rescue is in Colorado. Plus, my mom is a groomer so that helps. These poor little poodles came in a mess but my mom got them all looking great now. They should get adopted quickly. What's also neat about this rescue is that both my mom and the lady that run the rescue are breeders of their own dogs and the lady is even an AKC judge. It just goes to show that breeders care about the needy dogs too.
