THIS BAN COULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

-required million dollar insurance policy for all pit owners
-required muzzling at all public places, be it a walk, to go to the bathroom outdoors, or a play date at the dog park.
-killing all new pit or pit resembling puppies
-killing all found, rescued, or turned over pits from shelters which fall within the juristiction of bloomington.
-no new pit registration
-pits without registration will be killed

That is down right crazy! There are some citys with crazy BSL laws but a million dollar ins policy? Thats just nuts!!!!!!!

they are going nuts here now too. i just found out there is now a pitbull ban on two of my neighboring towns. i am glad that harley, our gsd, is an indoor dog. i might have to hide him out when all this crazy BSL bull**** moves on to the next targeted breeds on their list ! i got a nice surprise waiting for anyone that even tries to come and take any of my dogs !  Chain Gun

Here is a link to a wonderful organization that is very active and successful in fighting BSL.  Membership is only $15/yr.  If in your area, be it town/city/county/state, BSL legislation is introduced and you are a member of ADOA all you need to do is notify them of what is in the works and they will actively fight the legislation all the way through the court system at no additional cost to you.  They can only take up the fight if they have a member in the area where it is trying to be passed.


Fighting BSL is not their only cause.  Check out the link if you are interested.
