I've been to Atlanta maybe 6 times for quick business trips and from what I saw there is no way in heck I'd want to drive on their interstates - the traffic was horrendous! Hopefully it was only in the areas where I was and you won't experience the craziness.
Denise is right ATL Sucks! There are a million people trying to get somewhere in ten mins when it really takes 45. I always hated visiting ATL when I lived in Savannah, I ever drove I always made someone drive me I get road rage really bad in traffic. Good Luck!
Thanks we will probally need it. If it was anything like our last trip to Augusta I'll have a panic attack before we get out of there. If it wasn't for the fact I am taking one of the kids to a great doc. up there I would not even be going.
Good luck. Traffic in Dallas can be bad somtimes. I have always handled it well though. I remember when I first drove in Dallas rush hour I smoked a whole pack of cigs. LOL!!! I have calmed down a lot since then.
Traffic is nasty during rush hour times. Are you going downtown? It is kind of intimidating driving downtown if you're not used to it. And every road is Peachtree-something!
You'll be close to me. I live in the suburbs west of Atlanta, maybe 15-20 minutes from downtown, near Six Flags.
