howdy everyone!! how was everyones xmas? sorry i didnt keep up with the joke section. i just got back from my whirlwind tour of southern california lol. i crammed way to much into a 4 day visit. right from the start, i arrived in long beach and my friends and i all went and played darts and pool while we caught up on old times. it was great to be with my true friends again. we have alot of love for eachother and never let the small stuff get between us.
the next morning it was up at dawn to go fishing on my bros skiff. we fished aaaaalllllllll day and i won two out of the three catagories we bet on. ( first, biggest, and most ) i caught the first, and the biggest between my two fish for the day. weather was beautiful and none of us wanted to head in lol.
but we had to if we wanted to make it to the beach bonfire we had planned. it was back to my brother's house in pedro, and down to the beach where i fealt stupid standing next to the only open fire ring with only a shovel and a flashlight while other ppl walked by with all kinds of wood and goodies, but when my bro showed up with 2 truckloads of wood and we made all that noise unloading it all, we could hear some ppl yell things like "" dddaaaaaaannggg!!'' and others just went silent in amazement lmao. ppl were bummin wood from us all night and we had pleanty to give lol. 10 of us just relaxed and had a good time on the beach.
well, at 11 pm we got booted off the beach for closing time, and some went home, but not my bros and i, noooooooooooooooooooo we had to go to a bar and play more pool and darts. i just drank water and wanted to leave soooo bad. i finally went to bed at 3 am lol
xmas eve was full of making apperences at parties and trying to keep them to an hour or so in order to hit them all. i hit 5 different parties of friends of mine and ended up in carson at my brother's wife's parents house for a dull 4 hours of trying to stay awake lol
then it was back to the bar for some more water and darts, and another 3 am bet time.
xmas day was the long drive back to san diego, and spending the day with my mom, til 8 pm or so, and lunch with a friend today, and dinner with my mom today.
the highlite gifts were a new fishing rod and reel, tackle, mp3 player, a nice gift cert to turners outdoor products, and alot of nice clothes.
im tired, im whipped, and im beat........but this was my 2nd sober xmas in a row for me and it was the best by far. i have truly been blessed by god with many good ppl in my life
what did yall do for xmas?

Welcome back! Sounds like you had an awesome x-mas. Mine was nice and relaxing.....no going out of state this year....lol Joe got tons of stuff including a b-ball hoop so we have been enjoying that. Brad and I got a chest freezer and 52" flat screen TV. We have been REALLY enjoying the TV.....lol Otherwise, it was just a nice quiet holiday.

On Saturday we went to the in-laws at around 8 in the morning to do our gift giving. Then from noon until 5 I shopped with my sister...hell I tell you. Then me and Kaitlyn went out to Petrolia to a party at my Aunts. We had a lot of fun...didn't get home until midnight. Went to bed at 3.
On Sunday we had our Christmas here. Then we went to Brads grandmas at noon. Then I went back out to Petrolia at 4 to go to my nanas and then I went to my moms house at 5:45. I am so glad it is over.
We got a crap load of gifts. But I got a new purse, 60 buck gift certificate to JCPennys, cross necklace, more money, gift certificate to go out and eat, some smelly good stuff, clothes, and some other stuff.
Dang, sounds like one crazy whirlwind weekend. You know I did not forget, Hubby and I were at odds about going down to the beach at night to meet a person he thought could jump us. He had all sort of ideas of what could happen. LOL Soooo you know we had a bit of an arguement. Gosh you guys must of been cold tooo, with all that fog. I really wanted to come down but hubby was doing his protective bit. He later said, if I fought him more about it maybe he would have changed his mind. I did not want the whole evening ruined so I stopped. Heck I should have told you to come meet us later at Sullys in Torrance. Had I known your buddys would have wanted to do something like that. Hubbys friends band was playing. I would have been a bit shnockered by 11 too , LOL But extra friendly. LOL There will be another time though, I'm sure of it. I'm sorry I missed out on a nice whopper of a bonfire too.
yeah, no problemo lol. the fog was thick, but our fire was no match for it wooo hooo. we had enough wood to keep the whole beach warm all night lmao. was close to torrance, kinda, as one of the parties i went to was in carson. its all good puttin!! lol, being back up there sure made me miss living there alot. i just fealt like i was right back at home and didnt want to leave. im glad u had a great xmas and think it would be cool to hear ur hubbys band play sometime. ill bet they are good. do they have pool tables and darts where he plays? ill stay all night if they do lol.
If they play at the Crest then they have pool tables, I don't think they have darts, it would be in the way. I like the Crest better, probably because I have been there alot more and it feel more comfortable to me than Sullys. The pool area is on the opposite side of the bar from where the band plays. I've not played pool in quite some time. Didn't you say your mom was going to be at the bonfire? She likes to sit out in the cold, LOL My ex-husband goes down there with my boys at times and has bonfires.
You should come up here more often. How come you don't?
