So Today while i was at work this lady came in with a cat in a carrier and set it on the salon counter. She was like "so where do i leave this thing???" When i told her that we couldn't just accept cats that people brought in but i could give her the numbers to the local shelters she said..."well, i don't have time for that, either you take her or i will just leave her on the side of the road somehwhere, and i don't want her to die because my daughter paid $1000 for her." So rattled i told her i would take it, she said "okay, she is spayed had all her shots, declawed on all four feet, and her name is isabelle." Then she just left. When i looked inside the crate this is what i found:
So, completely shocked i bought some basics for the cat thinking it would totally be temporary. But within a few hours i was hooked to the little naked thing. She is such a cute little sweetheart! I just adore her. She has sooo much personality. I have been wanting a cat for awhile now and kevin keeps saying no. So when i told him over the phone that i brought home a cat he was PISSED! When he saw her he fell in love. We (as in kevin) are still deciding if she is going to stay...but i am crossing my fingers.
wow. that looks like a Sphynx ! they are a rare and expensive breed. could be a rex, but it has the features of a Sphynx. those are really cool cats. lol
here is a site that offers some info on the breed. congrats !
What a cutie!!! That is almost positively a Sphinx. Rexes do have hair. You should keep her and name her......Nefertiti (Egyptian Queen) or Cleopatra (Egyptian Queen) LOL
Okay, I'm not one for cats but that cat is the most precious thing I have ever seen. My husband hates cats or I would be looking for one of those right now. I love her!!! I bet I could even deal with her with my allergies.
