But it did turn out to be a good afternoon! I decided to go to lunch at Longhorn's all by myself-- a real treat for someone who lives in a household of 6 kids and 4 adults. I sat down with my book and ordered a bloody mary. The bartender comes with my drink and says, "well, we have two problems.." I'm thinking, oh no, not problems with my relaxing lunch alone! She says, "I was talking while I was pouring your drink, and you might need more mix; there's only about this much mix (holds fingers maybe a half-inch apart)" The second problem was she didn't know how spicy I wanted it so she handed me a tabasco bottle. HAAAA! I informed her that a really strong drink was indeed not a problem at all, thanked her, and had 15oz of vodka and some cheese fries for my first meal of the day! Not half bad. Not bad at all!

Hee-hee I will try to equal your mood right now. Having to cook my own dinner may mess up the ambiance slightly, but there is plenty of booze available, and I did the dishes before work.
