I am really nervous. I have made an appointment to see a throat specialist on Wednesday. About 3 days ago I noticed a lump on my throat. It is down by my collarbone on the left side. It is probably about an inch or two in circumfrence. It is pretty hard. I have done a bit of research and found that it could be alot of things from anything that just requires antibiotics to something that may need surgery(cancer). I am kind of freaking out. I am staying calm because of my girls and also because it also does me no good but there is a part of me that is just freaked. Sorry I am just ranting.
We actually were able to get the appointment moved up to tomorrow morning. I am hoping it is just a lymph node issue. I can handle that. But both mine and my husbands family are just riddled with cancer, tons of different types, so anything like this freaks us out. We are taking Bounder to the vet and then taking the kids to McDonalds today, trying to ease some of the stress. It is hard to be stressed around my kids, they are pretty good at getting my mind off of things. :)
Sending good vibes your way! Hopefully it'll be just as minor as my grandson. My oldest grandson, Zach, has a lymph node that gets quite big & hard before he even starts showing signs of a cold. We have now learned that when it shows up within a couple of days the cough & runny nose will arrive.
