Western Union Scammers

Pass this info along, its from another forum I go to. Duty recently delte with someone like this.

This is from Sharon from DogBreedInfo and she says the FBI has been called (she talked to them herself too )
Thought all here could pass this on ..a new scam ..Geez I hate people that do stuff like this ! Put it on your sites ,pass the word ,help keep buyers safe from scammers !

Hi Shirley,
This scam is actually someone pretending to be a breeder. They are using
stolen credit cards to open up ad pages and using a fake ID on the ad. They
are pretending to sell dogs. When the customer sends them money, usually via
Western Union, they stop talking to the person as soon as money is received.
They are very hard to catch since they use a fake ID and stolen credit card
every time. The only real link is the way they take payment.... only Western
Union and from what I heard from a person who was ripped off is, they refuse
to get on the phone and have some weird excuse that they had an operation on
their throat or something to that effect.

Interesting.  I know that BidPay (which operated by means of Western Union) recently closed down.  They were an online payment service like you would use on eBay, etc.  The scammers were costing them so much money that they were forced to close.
