I don't know if any of you will remember that after Kaia was put down, we were going to adopt a little chow mix girl named Page(we were going to caller her Deja Vu') Anyway, when we went to go look at her and introduce our dog to her(I had called the night before and was told not to worry about putting a hold on her and that no one had even looked at her) So, we got up there and was told she was ADOPTED!!! WTF?? Anyway, of course I was pissed. And I let them know it. I then figured, it wasn't meant to be and was happy she had found a home. They said if she came back for any reason, or the adopter never came to pick her up, that they would call me. Then my husband and I talked about it and decided that we wanted to find a breeder and get a purebred Chow from a breeder. So, then we found Chi-Ching and it was love at first sight. Shortly after, I was looking on Petfinder and realized that her picture was still on there, so I called the shelter to let them know, only to find out that she was still there!!! I was so ANGRY!! No one let me know, I had already bought and fallen in love with Chingers and yet here she is sitting in a kennel. I went to the shelter and let them know exactly what I thought. I couldn't take her then but I did make it so that she could not be euthanized without me being notified first. Well, during Christmas, my husband and I came and lowered alot of the animals adoption fees. Hers was one of the ones we lowered. Her adoption fee was lowered by $20. Well, I was looking on Petfinder again today and noticed her picture was gone. I was terrified that she was euthanized and they didn't call me. So I talked to them and she was ADOPTED!!!!!! She has actually gone home! I am ecstatic and I am still to be notified if she returns.
