Puppy Mill gets approval!

I saw this on another forum!  A planned puppy mill which will have 600 adult dogs has received the necessary permits to open from a county in MN!  This is one thing that definitely isn't needed!  Can you imagine what this will result in!  There is a newspaper article about it that also has a section at the end where you can send them your comments.  I am also going to share the contact information that someone else gathered for those who are interested in sending emails or snail mail to try to get these permits revoked.  One puppy mill of this size will have a negative impact countrywide.  I just can't believe any person in their right mind would approve the application.  If it is allowed to proceed I can't bear to think of what those poor creatures will have to endure.  Here's the info:

Here is Morrison County's website. http://www.co.morrison.mn.us/wsite/

A listing of the Commissioners and their addresses: http://www.co.morrison.mn.us/wsite/...mmissioners.htm

Jeff Schilling is the District 2 commissioner, where the mill is proposed to be built.

That is f*cking ridiculous!! And still....No one has figured out why so many animals die in shelters every year!! Cities and Counties should not be allowed to allow that!

I have sent emails to the ASPCA as well as ADOA in the hopes that between these organizations as well as any others they know of may be able to put on enough pressure to get the permit revoked.

The other thing in this that really upset me too is their plan to debark all the adult dogs so that they won't receive any noise complaints from the surrounding community.  Talk about adding insult to injury for all those poor dogs!
