Our New Herd Sire - ZEUS (pic)

Got another fainting goat today.  He will be our herd sire (along with Tuff).  We named him Zeus because well.....we love Greek Mythhology and Zeus was the king...lol.  Zeus will be 2 years old in April so he has another year of growing to do.

He is absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to see what his kids look like.

While we were there, the man we buy from (he currently has 80 baby goats they are feeding by bottle......they do that to make them use to humans) had 3 little triplets born yesterday to a dairy goat.  She had 2 does and 1 buck.  He GAVE us the buck...lol.  He is only one day old and we are bottle feeding him.  Solid White.  We don't have any use for him as far as breeding goes, so we will band him and make him a wether.....but still.....he was FREE...lol.  We'll get pics of him soon.....and we gotta name him.

Anyway, here is the amazing Zeus....lol  (Zeus is also Young Bucks daddy)

BTW, the great pyr is doing great!  We kept her inside the first 2 nights and then turned her out with the goats.  She has been in heaven ever since......although she is no longer white...lol.  Still trying to think of a name for her.......will get pics of her soon too!

Zeus is awesome looking, his name is perfect, and awe-inspiring.
The little white shall be your sacred animal. Don't be in a hurry to nueter him....what a treasure.

Ahem.  And where are the pictures of the nameless pyr?

Nice looking goat.  Good name choice.  I love Greco-Roman names.
