This morning at 5 am i had the front door open cause i was having a smoke. I heard this weird noise and then i heard a cat kinda screaming/hissing, like the cat was in a fight or somethihng was attacking the cat. I got worried that it might be one of our cats so i checked to see who was home and everyone was accounted for except for my boyfriends favorite cat Giles. Once the sun rose I started looking for him but i havnt found him yet. Usually when i wake up in the morning he is outside the front door waiting to come in, but not this morning. There are also a lot of strays around the neighborhood so the cat i heard could have been one of them, or possibly one of the strays fighting with Giles, but what worries me is that he hasnt come home yet. I hope he shows up. After this im not letting the cats go outside anymore, it just worries me too much.
Im so scared he is injured somewhere or even worse. Hopefully he wasnt even involved in what i heard this morning and he is just taking his time to come home.
Please wish me luck that he returns unharmed, Jason would be devasted if anything happened to Giles, and Jason has had a bad week already. He tripped over one of the dogs the otherday and fractured his elbow and broke his wrist, so this would just be the worst week ever for him if Giles doesnt come home. Gosh im worried sick.
Don't worry too much. Cinder went missing for three days and just popped up out of no where perfectly fine (We just got her back two days ago!) So relax, worrying doesn't help right now. Hard not to, I know. He will come home, don't worry.
I hope Giles returns unharmed. Not knowing where he is and whether he is okay must be just awful. I think your decision to keep the cats indoors from now on is a wise one. I know cats like to go outside, but life if just safer for them if they remain indoors.
Poor Jason. Several years ago my mom broke her fibula tripping over her basset. I'm not sure what's worse: coping with the break itself or having to tell everyone you have a broken bone because you tripped over a dog.
Keep us updated on Giles. I'm actively wishing him a safe return in the very near future.

Awwww....poor Giles, he is my favorite. I agree with keeping the cats indoors. My cat, Chance, was an outside cat when he found us but i made him an inside cat. I was afraid for his life way too much. I thought he might be mad at us for making him stay indoors but he got over it pretty quick and never even goes to the door anymore. He has been a indoor cat now for 3 years. Good luck and i hope Giles comes home soon.
