hi i was wondering if anyone could help me, my dogs a mutt but i dont know what breads she comes from if anyone has any ideas could you please tell me, by the way she runs really fast, ahe would kill a rabbit or cat if she could but we dont let her, trys to fit down rabbits holes lol she doesnt relise she is too big.
I don't think you can singel out any 2 breeds that she is a mix of (as with most mixed breeds). I'm thinking along the lines of:
Dad, possibly a Rottie/Lab cross and Mom: possibly a Border Collie/Lab or Border Collie/other shepherd cross. I'm definitely thinking Rott and Border Collie in there somewhere because of the color and the way she holds her ears. Whatever her mix, she is just BEAUTIFUL! Nice shiny coat on her too!
The color doesn't tell you much because lots of breeds come in black and tan, especially if you count the breeds that carry black and tan as a mismark. It's an old color, even found in the dingo. She looks kind of dobe-ish to me, and she sure is cute, regardless of what mix she is.
