Well, we did it, we finally were able to adopt my "big" dog. Went to the local shelter and they had a 7month old rottie pup that was looking for a home. After the interview and having the girls meet him we were finally able to bring him home. I am so excited to have a big dog around and everyone gets alone great....well he hasn't met/seen the kitties yet..... The name the Humane Society gave him is "Albert" soon as I can get a clue on other names we'll switch it....he just doesn't quite look like an albert to me. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow....in the mean time can anybody help me come up with a name?
I'm betting Frenchies taste like chicken to Rotties, also... Matter of fact, I heard cats taste like chicken, too... Other than that, avoid names like Cujo and Jaws. Maybe names like Flower, Puff, and Simple will rub off on him and make him easy to deal with. But wait, Puff was a Dragon, also...
I'll have to run them by the hubby and see what he thinks. I thought about Cass short for cassanova and Clyde. Both were turned down. Soon as my pictures are done uploading to photobucket I'll post them
He looks a little like the rottie my parents once had. His name was Baron. He was the coolest dog. Those diaper pics are funny. I get to teach my new ones to have diapers on too. Ought to be fun......lol
Pi no longer has to wear the suspenders, she has now come out of heat. WOO HOO! because my husband works nights now on the nights he's off she's allowed to sleep with me (usually cuz she'll just sleep on the bed and stay all night) however last night she pee'd in the bedroom and pooped in our bathroom (gotta teach her to flush the toilet) so I'm not for sure if she'll get to sleep with me tonight. Still trying to decide on a name for our boy. Having some trouble with the runs with him. I know it's mostly because of the food switch, going from whatever they feed at the shelter to Nutro is there anything I can do to help his tummy adjust quicker? (I suspect he's also getting more water here than there)
