Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix?

Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix?

Chihuahua/Beagle?

He actually looks a lot like my dog Ella, and she is a purebred Chihuahua. She has similar coloring. Course, the way his markings are really make me think there is Beagle in there.

Does he not look too big to have some chihuahua? Someone had mentioned one time that he might have some fiest (sp?) in him, but Ive never heard of that breed. He just showed up at the church, which is in the middle of nowhere, and Ross eventually just took him home. Hes a cocky little dog and thinks hes 10 ft tall! Thanks for y'alls input!

For some reason a corgi mix popped into my head (must be the ears and the height)  but he doesn't seem to have the feet like a corgi.....hmmmmm that shall be a pondering question forever.  :)

Could be, I knew someone once that had a Chi/Rottie mix, I kid you not. The dog was around 20 pounds. If the father was the Chi, it would be possible I would think. His ears really scream Chihuahua or Rat/Jack Russel Terrier to me though.

Jack russell, beagle, chi.  Something like that mix.  We have a few dogs in our rescue with the same head and ears shape.

I vote for beagle/corgi.

A feist is a small hunting dog.  There are a couple of feist breeds, but most feists fall into a type rather than a specific breed.
