Matt was leaving my house last night and I was watching him drive down the road because another car was FLYING down the road right behind him (probably 60 in a neighborhood, 35mph limit) and I saw the car stop and I thought "Oh lord, they've rear ended his brand new car!" But I saw both of them turn on their E. Lights and I looked down the road and called h8im to ask what happened and he said "It's a tiny kitten!" So, I went down the road and we looked through the weeds (I live right across from farm land) and found it. I took it back home w/ me and from what I see, she's fairly healthy. We're not known for having feral cats around here so I think she was dumped off because she's so affectionate and craves attention. I'd guess she's 4-5 weeks old. We're taking her to the vet at 1pm today (my work) and see if Dr.Walls can see her today and if not, I work Friday and she can come with me all day and be seen by one of the docs. Maybe it's a sign, Matt saved her so he can have her. I'll try and convince him, maybe bargain that I'll pay for the series of vaccines(Big discounts there), he pays for the spay($79) something like that....;) Wish me luck.
I think it was starting to be weaned, because I'm just softening my cats adult food w/ water until I go up to work and get samples of kitten food and some canned stuff. It roots around on me like it still needs to nurse but I don't know if it needs it anymore. I'll ask the Dr. and get some supplement stuff if so.
And yes kitty another one to crook is always good....:)
