How do I handle this?

My two co workers are a couple and they have been living with me for about a month, with their chi/doxie mix named Zoey. Zoey isnt pottytrained even though I think they believe she is. She has always peed or pooped when left unsupervised in my house, so now they always keep her in their room, or they take her with them when she leaves.

I just came home to an empty house and I was walking down our hallway by their bedroom door, I smelled something, and realized it was the smell of pee on carpet. I know that smell well. Anyway then I started thinking about all those times they left her in their room, she probly peed all over the place and I have never seen them use natures miracle to clean it, which i have and i have told them about natures miracle before.

Anyway they are moving out in about a week. They better not leave that room smelling like pee. I want them to clean the carpets, but they are very sensitive people. Ive never had an issue with them before, but i see how they are with family and friends and they are very sensitive.

How can I go about asking them to clean the carpets without making them feel like im being a you know what?

I kind of want to call her at work right now and start talking about it but i think i should wait till they come home from work.

I just dont know what to say, im not very good at confrontations.

Thanks!

Clean all your carpets in your house. Ask them if they would pitch in on the rental of the carpet cleaner and the cleaners, also that they are to clean their room and you will do the rest of the house.

Yeah, like Stomy said. Be sure to do their room with No-Go after you clean it.
