My husband owns his own business and all of his employees are like his family, most he has known since he was a child himself. Anyway, one employee, her and her husband were BEST friends to my husbands parents, they had known eachother since before my husband was born. The wifes father had fallen on Thursday and hit his head, he was in the hospital in extremely poor condition, they said he had blood on the brain. So, that night she stayed with her mom to try and console her. Well, her own husband, for the past few months, was having some problems with blood clots in his legs, so he was put on blood thinners, well, on Friday morning his wife came home to find blood EVERYWHERE, apparently he had been throwing up blood alot, so she rushed him to the hospital, alot of bad things happened there(I won't go into detail because children may read this) but sadly, he passed away. And if that was not bad enough, withing ten minutes of eachother her father passed away too. So, in less then two days, this woman lost her father and her husband, both of them VERY unexpected. Our families are devastated. My husband is closing his office for the day of his funeral(Friday) He was like a second father to my husband and it has been really hard on him.
Okay, now that we are all sad, how about some good news? My husbands brother(my brother in law) has a 15 year old daughter who was pregnant(okay, that is NOT the happy part), however, they have decided to keep it and everyone will help her when they can, so yesterday at 8 pm, little Andrea Alison was born....no complications, she was almost 7 pounds and she was 19 inches! I will be taking some professional pictures of her tomorrow and so I will post pictures of her.
As my father in law said to my brother in law last night....for every one that leaves this world, another one comes in.
RIP - Bill and Tom and Welcome to the World Andrea!
I cannot even IMAGINE what that poor woman is going through. How terribly awful. I don't even know this woman and my heart just cries for her. Kat, you and hubby please make sure she has lots of emotional support right now. She is going to need it. Oh....It just hurts thinking about it.
And for little Andrea....she is going to be the heart stealer of the family! I can't wait to see pics. The mother....so young.....but with lots of support and encouragement she can pull this off. The main thing.....make sure she finishes school. I'm so happy to know that she had a healthy baby girl....and what a pretty name too!!
It's certainly true that birth heralds death. I see it often with the birth of pups. I am most happy when a litter is born without the shadow of death over it, but it is nature's way and no changing it. Sorry to hear about your friends, though. Awful tragic year for them. I wish them strength and hope for tomorrow.
Thank you everyone. The funeral are on Friday(only 3 hours apart) I will not be going but my husband will. Thank you for the well wishes....
I am going to be taking professional pictures of Andrea next week.......we are just too busy this week, but I will post them as soon as I get them done. Thanks!
