Hey remember my foster poodle named Teddy. Well last saturday he went to his new home. I feel completely good about it too. He was my first ever foster dog. I did not cry too after having him a good 6 weeks.
This lady already has put him in her will. She has dubbed him Teddy Davis, Cause she said he had Betty Davis eyes. LOL
I always get homes for my dogs/pups that are way better than I could provide, so I always feel good, too. Lots of times I cry, but know I did the right thing. The people are so lucky to have any of my dogs, they are amazed by them, and totally happy with them. The dogs have to love the extra attention, going from a pack structure to adopted only child statis.
I knew it was the right thing to do. She told me today he was confused and kept going to the doors looking for me. But now I know he loves her to. If he is smiling then I know it. Teddy is her new man in her life as she calls him. She just adores him, as do everyone that meets him. Such a sweet boy. He is prtective of her too, which she needs as a person living on their own. Barks at people that come to the door. LOL He was just perfect for her. I will see him again too. She is not far.
