I moved in with my mom after Katrina, and about a month ago, we got a borzoi together. Her call name is Venus, and she's about 8 and a half months-old now. She's very funny and sneaky, and she's a total thief and pick-pocket. If I don't have the cargo pockets on my shorts buttoned, she'll empty the contents before I even know she's there.
The pics I'm going to try to post were sent to me by the breeder. I have no idea who the person in the pics is. Also, she looks a little more mature now, but you should be able to get the general idea of what she looks like.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh man, these dogs are soooo pretty and graceful. You know I saw a beauty in the shelter once. I just knew the owner would find it. It was beautiful. I wish your pictures were bigger. Venus looks like a beauty. What a stinker, LOL Little pick pocket.
She's gorgeous Proto! How lucky you are. That's a very rare breed where I live. I think I have only seen one in my entire lifetime. Congrats to you guys! :)

A guy that works in the vet clinic at my store breeds and shows borzoi's. He even went to the Euk. tournament of champions (i think that's the one) in Winchester, if I remember right he placed in best of breed.
