Real stones, pea gravel it is called I laid down a bunch of pea gravel in the yard last night. I figured these stupids would monkey with it somehow. I saw my 6 yr. old tasting it. Their yard is dirt, or concrete, I had kept pebbles, that might cause obstruction to brainless 10 week old pups, swept up. Now, there are a few feet of this thumbnail sized granite on the ground. The 6 month old pup pooped a bunch of it this morning and afternoon. Hopefully, it all comes out. I think I'm going to give him some cat hairball food tonight just for good measure. You know, that has just gotta feel weird pooping that stuff out. __________________
Those darn labs love to eat rocks don't they. Wonder if they like the way it feels goinbg down or something. LOL Reminds me of Lilly and the rice a roni. LOL
dokker ate rocks a lot when he was a pup. He started getting an upset tummy (I could tell by the messes he'd leave on the training pads.. blech) I took him to the vet to make sure nothing was going on, she said just to feed him rice and chicken for a day and take away his regular food, and gave me some sort of 'upset tummy' pill. 12 hours later when I got home from work, there were 7 fist sized PILES of little rocks on my kitchen floor. He was fine after that, and I blocked off the part of the backyard that had all the rocks. Man that was funny coming home to what looked like a mini-Egypt. Perfectly clean rocks, by the way. It was kinda creepy.
And here I thought it was 'cute' when he'd roll and around in and toss around those rocks. Little did I know, and boy how I learned yet another lesson from that crazy little guy!
Yeah, I had little pyramid poos for the last few days. I think just about all of them ate a few. Last time I had inedibles being eaten, Tanya had grabbed a couple large mouthfuls of the cat pine pellet litter Poor thing, if you think bran muffins get you going, you should try cat pine. She was fit to be tied for a couple days.
