Hi Tami! about five months ago my dog Angie suffered from worms. my friend told me to buy a de-worming pill and mix it with some chicken but Angie figured it out and only ate a quarter… that happened a couple of times unlit two months ago I’ve found a solution in a form of dry food that my Angie really liked and I didn’t have to force her at all !!! you should try it … Tasties Worm-Out
I have also seen at Petsmart that they have treat that you can put pills inside. I always just smother pills in peanut butter then put them on the back of my dogs tongue. Good luck!
Usually I just force the pill down their throat. I have a Great Dane and I do pills like I would for a horse. I just stick the pill on the back of their tongue and then I hold their mouth closed and tilt their head back. It usually does the trick. I know it sounds mean but it gets the job done.
Well if it was tapeworms it would be gotten by ingesting a flea. If others, Hmm, drinking dirty water, things like that, I believe. Pups themselves are born with them, they get them from their mothers.
